Story…. A brief flashback begins as Carol and Richard, Tessa’s mom and dad, are arguing as Carol kicks Richard out of the house for being an alcoholic and getting fired from his job. A young Tessa witnesses her father leaving and runs toward his car yelling frantically for Richard not to leave. Present day begins as Richard’s in Tessa and Hardin’s apartment. Tessa, bound to develop a relationship with her estranged father, offers a shower and a place for him to stay. Source
